So... That's all my reasoning ^^;

Well, I guess I could do a Fanfic Review so this isn't a completely insignificant post (after all, I made this straighten out my Fanfic ideas ;) ) So here we go:

One-Shots:

Twas the Night - 3/10 - 100% finished - This story is EXTREMELY short and was my first fanfiction one-shot, so obviously it's poor quality yet it's a fun story just meant to make you go "aww". Turtle tot tale. - first published December 2005

The Years After - 5/10 - 100% finished - Much longer than its predecessor, this was my second fanfiction one-shot and the quality (though equally poorly written) is still more scheduled and strung together than "Twas the Night". My SAINW Predecessor tale. - first published January 2006

Fools for the Day - 2/10 - 100% finished - I honestly did this story for pleasure and decided I should publish it in all its horrid, ugly glory. It even features me and a character that doesn't belong in the story at the end. Just for kicks. - first published April 2006.

There - 7/10 - 100% finished - I am a terrible poet, but sometimes you just get that desire to fake it and write anyway. In honor of 911. Nominated for Best Moral of the 2006 Stealthy Stories fanfiction competition. - first published September 2006

The Jewel Series

The Red Night's Dawn - 3/10 - 100% finished - My first completely written fanfiction for the Ninja Turtles fandom. It is awful - terrible even - but it's my introduction to the writing world in all its badness and actually surpassed 100 reviews. The original character, Nova Dane, has remained one of my most known since. - first published October 2005.

Twilight - 5/10 - 100% finished - Longer chapters, better descriptions - all around better than the first, but still terrible ;) Oh, well, this is the series you really see me grow as a writer. Surpassed 100 reviews. - first published December 2005

The Journey - 6/10 - 43% finished - Based off of my fancomic for the series. Mostly a romantic comedy between Raphael and Nova Dane. Chapters are an alright-length, but it's not the best I could do. Currently on Haitus. - first published May 2006

Furriful - 5/10 - 100% finished - Another comedy for the series, though this one is a one shot. It is exptremely long (perhaps too long) but it's broken into three parts (three days) in celebration of my own made-up holiday, Furriful. - first published December 2006

The Future Saga

Baby Bro - 7/10 - 100% finished - Probably one of my favorite stories I've ever written. Quality of the first few chapters are pretty terrible but as it continues it gets better and better. I loved this story and to this day think it's one of my best fictions. Nominated for Best Action/Adventure Story for the 2006 Stealthy Stories Fanfiction Competition. Surpassed 100 reviews. - first published December 2005

Hiro's Friend - 6/10 - 100% finished - My first Hirosaka One Shot. Just a little tool used to dive more into my most known original character's...well... character. It was fun and written all right. - first published April 2006

Hunting Babbits - 5/10 - 100% finished - Another dive into Hiro's character but also used to hint about his history (later revealed in "Secrets of the Past"). Not as well written as "Hiro's Friend" but more of an "aww!! cute" story as well as more for Hiro-Mikey brotherly moments. - first published April 2006

The Halloween Treat - 7/10 - 100% finished - Another One Shot just to give Hiro some spotlight (first Halloween - yay!) as well as celebrate my arrival to the Ninja Turtle fandom (one year anniversery - yay!). Nominated for Best Holiday for the 2006 Stealthy Stories Fanfiction Competition. - first published October 2006

Secrets of the Past - 8/10 - ~43% finished - My favorite story at the momento. Hiro's story continues but now even more centered on the actual family, and though SAINW is not mentioned as much so far, the similarites will slowly become more apparent as the story continues. - In Progress

The Mutamon! Series

Mutamon! - 9/10 - 10% finished - I love comedy, Pokemon, and Ninja Turtles - what else can I do but combine them all into this!? A start to the series that's just picking up its feet. Nominated for Best Parody of the 2006 Stealthy Stories Fanfiction Competition. - Haitus

Crossovers

A Dog's Best Friend - 5/10 - 60% finished - A crossover of my favorite childhood heroes (well, a few at least) - Ninja Turtles and Road Rovers. Not the best written thing ever, chapters are short and the story's going to be a short one when finished, but I enjoy it. - In Progress

Sequeled Stories

The Dark Half - 8/10 - 100% finished - My first horror story - was surprisingly well taken by the TMNT community and reached over 100 reviews. Nominated for Best Leonardo Scene for the Stealthy Stories 2006 Fanfiction Competition. - first published December 2005

The Dark Half II: Thirteen - 7/10 - 7% finished - The sequel to my favorite little horror story. Only one chapter so far - only going to half 13 (hence name) - first published March 2007

Non-Series Fanfictions

My Immortal I - 6/10 - 100% finished - A tribute to my love of Egyptian mythology. May not be the best story ever written, but it's my first Donny-centric story and his character change was hard for me to do. - first published March 2006

Summer Roses - 7/10 - 46% - My first true romance story. Not the gushy, Mary-Sue love people are accustomed to reading now. This girl doesn't even realize she's loved by her true love and there's a fiance and daughter to be get through first for this love sick turtle. Nominated for Best Romance of Stealthy Stories 2006 fanfiction Competition. - Haitus

The Turtle Show - 6/10 - 30% finished - Based off one of my favorite movies, The Truman Show with Jim Carry. Don't be expecting comedy however - this is one tragic, angsty, mystery you're dealing with. And I think no one will expect the ending. - Haitus

I obviously have too much free time.

Update you later ;)

Interesting Facts on Wikipedia

Greetings everyone! Me again (Q: Who else?) with some intersting news!
For those of you who go to Wikipedia you may not be so impressed or surprised but I found Wikipedia pages for nearly all of my dearest fandoms! I was about to throw a party!

One I found particularly interesting is the one on Road Rovers. As I found on my DA account there are more deep-rooted Rover fans out there, but I never thought twice that someone would make a Wiki page. It even mentions Colleen's advances on Hunter which I thought only I was making a big deal of (see pic below). From what I've read it's got all the facts straight even though its a 'debatable' page according to Wiki. Still, anyone who doesn't know the Rovers should check it out sometime.

Other ones are Ninja Turtles (which I may not agree with fullly)
Pokemon
Batman Beyond (*cheers* Yeah, BB!)
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Kingdom Hearts
Indiana Jones (may not be reliable due to new film)
Rurunoi Kenshin (not sure on its reliabilty either)
Jak and Daxter (okay - not sure on anything)
The Lion King
The Fox and the Hound
Zoids (mostly only the toys)
Star Wars
Aladdin (Not that great of one)
Spider-Man

Too much free time. To be honest, I was disappointed there wasn't one for Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmeron or for Balto the movie nor that great of one for Aladdin.

Oh, well. That's enough of your brain cells I"ve wasted today *waves* Ta ta!

Extended Weekend (Gah! Stupid FanFiction!!!)

Well, here I am again. The other day I was reflecting on how little I read as compared to last year and then I looked at my bookshelf and decided - oh, yeah... I need to go to the library! I know it sounds weird, but ever since I started working in the library every day I haven't checked out any books. I guess I've gotten so sick of shelving the same books over and over again I don't feel the need to check out any of my own *sigh* So I checked out another Stephen King book, Cell. My friends say it's good and I've enjoyed what King books I've read, so...
Someone tell me what they think if they've read it

Both the school's basketball teams (Boys and Girls) are going to state tournaments this week so today was the last day of the week for us. Thank goodness for that - I'm not a "I hate school and hope it dies" type but I do enjoy vacation now and then and we're a school that NEVER gets out of school. When we get off a day the entire county panics because they know it's bad then. Even the Catholic Private school across the road depends on us. They don't call of unless we do. So - thankful for that^^ Also, the boy I'm crushing bad on is on the boys' team so I'm going to go cheer them on! Yeah me! I think Rae will be there, if not I can handle myself *paints self blue*

I've worked up a storm on Halfling. Hopefully it will be up within a few weeks *hits head* You see, originally I wanted to update like two or three pages at a time, but now that I have to have one complete comic done before I get the copyrights filled out I'm working so fast that the comic looks... Sloppy. I'll revamp it later most likely. I've also got requests I STILL haven't finished @.@ I can't wait until Tennis season. Things just seem to come together for Tennis.

Oh, and buddy do I envy you people who can read and review for stories as well as write your own. At my rate of typing and looking over it takes me a week to make a complete typed chapter. At that rate I can't DREAM of reading other people's fictions as they update. I'm a fast reader (when it's on paper) but my printer privileges are at a no-go at the moment thanks to one fanfiction I didn't scan before I printed. It was a crapfic *sigh* My parents saw it and flipped. We had just gone through something like this earlier *hits head again*

Also, Lunar-Ninja posted some comic strips from my first fanfic, The Red Night's Dawn. They were so nice that I was like, "Ah, I had fun with that fic! I haven't looked at it in a while! I think I'll take a look-see!" .... .... It was a load of crap. Oh, my gosh I can't believe how much better I am now. The chapters were maybe a third of my current stories' length and there are a bunch of flaws in it. LUCKILY, though, it gave me a plot bunny to sum those flaws up [/sarcasm]. Oh, well. Someday when I don't have a million and one things to do, I'll revamp it.

Then I looked at the reviews for that story. It was like 130-something (guesstimate) reviews. I'm like @.@ What? XD It must've been that I was new and and people wanted to give me a chance, I s'pose... ... Still... Ah, I won't get into it. I summed up how I feel about reviews in the second chapter of RND, "So, anything goes" (not actual quote - what I meant)

That sums it up, Turtlefreak over and out^^

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://myadra.blogspot.com/2007/01/extended-weekend-gah-stupid-fanfiction.html' title='Extended Weekend (Gah! I
love the sound of your voice. Every time I hear it, I wave my arms and
legs. The sound of your heart beat is my favorite lullaby.

Month Two Mommy, today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could
see me, you could definitely tell that I am a baby. I'm not big enough
to survive outside my home though. It is so nice and warm in here.

Month Three You know what Mommy, I'm a !! I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound
so sad. It makes me sad too, and I cry with you even though you can't hear me.

Month Four Mommy, my hair is starting to grow. It is very short and
fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes, and stretch my arms
and legs. I am becoming quite good at it too.

Month Five You went to the doctor today. Mommy, he lied to you. He
said that I'm not a baby. I am a baby Mommy, your baby. I think and
feel. Mommy, what's abortion?

Month Six I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seems
cold and heartless. Something is intruding my home. The doctor called
it a needle. Mommy what is it? It burns! Please make him stop! I can't
get away from it! Mommy!! HELP me!! No . . .

Month Seven Mommy, I am okay. I am in Jesus's arms. he is holding me.
He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me Mommy?

Every Abortion Is Just . . . One more heart that was stopped. Two
more eyes that will never see. Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run. One more mouth that will never
speak. Repost this if you are against Abortion. Before even time began,
your life was in HIS hands.

Gah! DOGS!!!!

Well, here I am again. I'm suffering once more from a bout of writer's block... ... No... I take that back, writer laziness! I know what I have to type, but I can't bring myself to it. Ah, well. I'm sure I can threaten myself with spinach to write it XP
TF's Inner Child: GAH! SPINACH!!! NOOOOO!!!!! *runs around screaming*

Alright, I've held my tongue long enough about the stupid dogs in my neighborhood. You see, we're a small neighborhood - maybe twenty houses (though probably much less) and of those twenty houses seven have dogs. Now one of those is my house but because of - I dunno - a law about dogs running loose we have a fenced in yard for my baby.

Now, how many of those other six keep their dogs under lock and key? ONE!!!! One house besides ours is lawabidding. What about those five dogs? They have become a pack of absolute MONGRALS running around the neighborhood. They tear up lawn furniture, destroy plants, eat decorations on the porch... It's unbelievable. The largest of this pack is a siberian husky and the other male is a labrador! Then there's a mutt, a corgi, and a pug! And do you know where they prefer to stay? In the largest yard of course! And whose is that, you ask? Why mine of course!

I have to pick up after my own dog and cat - I don't need to be picking up other people's! The sad thing is, one of the owners is my best friend and they had to get rid of their last dog for just this reason. They had a fence but didn't use it and now it's not there at all! The husky is 10 years old so its owners were like "Ah, it'll die soon anyway...". The pug's owners had their lawn destroyed by the other two and were like "Fine! We'll give them a taste of their own medicine!" (though I personally believe it backfired). The corgi has arthridis and just sits on its owner's pourch so I have problem with it. The mutt actually started it all! She's the worst - getting in people's garbage, eating plants, destroying anything it can grab and she's my friend's dog! And they know she acts like this - but they don't care! But this labrador? It showed up yesterday! I don't know where it came from but I've had enough! Just because they've got collars on (which, only two of them do, actually) they're still in violation of the law. But can anyone inforce it? No! Our entire stinkin' county doesn't have one dog catcher!

I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't take Cash (my tiny cocker spaniel) on walks anymore because they try to kill him - they almost did las time if I hadn't kicked them off of him (and I hadn't stepped off of my own land yet!). I guess the time and age has come where people truly don't care for each other anymore. Back in my old neighborhood Not many people were friends and it was too large for our tastes but everyone kept their dogs up and under control! And when stray dogs came the dog catcher got them and took them to the county pound. I don't know - I'm just sick of having to obey the law only to have other brake it without consequences.

Well, let me go try to type again - this is one ramble out ;P

TF121

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://myadra.blogspot.com/2007/01/gah-dogs.html' title='Gah! It's been a while since I last posted - I've been so busy! Gah!!!!

Well, I've been spending a lot of time focused on school work, family, and my many tiny hobbies - as I should be.

I really need to spend some time on my art and fanfictions, though. I'm putting Summer Roses, The Turtle Show, Mutamon!, and The Journey on hiatus - it's too much! I'm focusing on Secrets of the Past and A Dog's Best Friend. A Dog's Best Friend should be short - maybe 12-15 chapters, but Secrets could DEFINITELY take some of my time. So I figured once I finished A Dog's Best Friend I would take Summer Roses and work on it with Secrets. When one of them finished, Mutamon!, then the Turtle Show, and then The Journey. Then I'll be done and only work on TWO at a time from now on - that's smarter XP

Anyways, here's this - stolen from AmeMusashi's blog.

1. Keyboard or biro?
I'm taking that 'Biro' means 'hand written'. I'm odd - I carry this huge notepad around and write out a 'layout' or 'example' for my stories and have them figured out then I type out the chapters adding/deleting parts from the story to the way I would prefer it (it's easier on my eyes that way) I just wish I did that earlier in my fanfiction career.

2. Beta or no beta?
No, currently I use no beta but I've been letting more of my friends read over my stories for me. They're not the types to go read my stories in their free time except one, but she doesn't like me anymore so that's out of the question XP But if I request them to check for errors they're happy to help me and actually like reading my stories.

3. Title?
Well, usually it just pops in my head at the last second. Other times I use them to hint to things - Like with The Red Night's Dawn (since it was my earliest official piece and most of my friends have read it) the entire story happens in one night - 27 chapters in one night, I know, insane. But with the morning comes the end - the Dawn is the awakening. And though most people think the "Red Night" means Raph, it actually means the battle that ensues over that night. Red is what color a person's eyes glowed when they were evil.

So if people read my titles closely, they'd uncover a lot about my stories - just a cute little thing I've been using for a while. Not sure if anyone thinks that deeply about fanfiction titles, but it works. Other ones you might want to think about (that aren't obvious):
My Immortal I
A Dog's Best Friend
Secrets of the Past
Summer Roses

4. Smushy or smutty?
Eck! No smut! I can't stand it - makes my skin crawl and my feet go numb. It just doesn't work with me. Smushy, fluffy, butter-flies flying through a graceful meadow lovey-dovey stuff works fine with me.

5. Summary?
For some reason my summaries never make since *scratches head* I think I'm very vague with my summaries, but what am I supposed to do? I stink when it comes to summarizing things!

6. Funniest fic?
Mutamon! most definitely! I love that fanfiction! Makes me feel all happy and good inside when I write it! It's not often that someone makes fun of the two things they love very much! TMNT and Pokemon were meant to be crossbred! XD And Maurice, well, he's a star! A speck of gold!

7. Most popular fic?
Reviews wise is The Dark Half - my rendition of Leonardo meets Stephen King's 'The Dark Half' (angst/horror/mystery/drama) - that was completed with 140-some chapters last year. Right now, though, is Secrets of the Past, part of my Future Saga-deal (suspense/drama/mystery/action/adventure). It only has nine chapters as of right now, but it's receiving like 8 reviews a chapter.

Hit wise it's The Red Night's Dawn (RND), part one of the Jewel Series (fantasy/action/adventure/humor) - it has WAY too many hits. That doesn't mean anything 'cause someone clicking on it and then not reading it counts as a hit, but, hey, I like to think a lot of people have read it considering it's my first fic.

Lastly, I think Baby Bro, my first Future Saga fic (Action/Adventure/Drama/Suspense) is my most accepted by people. Not sure if it's because people like the SAINW theme, my OC (Hirosaka), or the tone of the story but I think it has something to do with the fact that Hiro's arrival really makes Baby Bro a coming of age story for the turtles - they're the adults now and they're in charge of not only themselves but of a child - a baby brother. Also, it has a strange, light humor to it that I, myself, had not used (incidentally) before.

8. Most fun to write?
Hmm... Probably Mutamon! 'cause I no matter how hard I try or how much I cut the chapters up, they end up becoming very long because I just get so carried away in the stupidness XD

9. Best and worst?
Best: Probably Baby Bro - no dazzler but I really like how people accepted it and how it sorta set the theme of the Future Saga - "All it takes, is one"
Worst: Gah... Tortured Souls - first fic, Mary-Sue. Deleted. So uh... the next is probably Fools for the Day - horrendous one-shot. Then probably RND. Sorry, Nova-fans. I just don't like it that much anymore. I'll probably fix it up some day - it's not completely unfixable.

10. Could have been contenders?
Yes, Baby Bro has major contenders like The Dark Half, Mutamon!, and Summer Roses. The Dark Half is great because it was my first horror and people seemed to (over all) love it. Mutamon! is really liked by a lot of people. It's a parody and it's stupid, but that's the whole shine of this gem! And Summer Roses is the first hard-core romance I've ever tried. Makes everything a new experience - even the P.O.V is new to me - before this I NEVER tried using the different Point of Views of characters. It's tough because it's new, but people like it.

And I think I summed up the worst fics...

11. Strengths?
Suspense and mystery. All of my stories seem to have a touch of that. And I've found I'm pretty good at humor when I come around to it, but I really like Action/Adventure and Fantasy. I swear - it's all the Star Wars and Indiana Jones coming out!

12. Weaknesses?
Horror's a big one. I just don't think I do a very good job of it. For some reason I struggle with romance and when I'm writing and angst fic it's not as angsty as say my light humored Baby Bro or RND (which is weird, 'cause I didn't mean to be angsty)

13. Dirty little secrets?
There's a story I REALLY want to do but it involves a very bad home life for this family the turtles want to help. I mean a VERY bad home life, drugs, abuse, alcohol - the works. And it's all based on a girl I know who was finally rescued from a home like that. Problem is, I'm not sure if I can bring myself to do such. This would call for some adult language and content and I don't know if I can do it...

Whoever wants to try this baton/Memo, feel free to copy/paste it into your LJ or blog

Speaking of work, I've gotta go work on Art homework *mumbles* Bye!

Bit Nervous

Well, today is going to be the day we see what's wrong with my ears. The clogging, sores, hurting and so on... Makes me nervous but I agree with my mother (gasp) that it is probably nothing for me to worry about. After all, my ears used to get infections a lot and that never bothered me. What makes now different?

Okay, nervousness aside I found out about my old Sunday school teacher's grandson. I've been praying for a while now for him and I was very happy to find out that the surgery on his legs went well, even though it was to remove them. He has prosthetic legs now and is finally able to walk. I mean, he wasn't able to before because of how weak his were (the reason they were amputated). For the first time he is realizing (or at least being vocal about realizing) that he is different from other kids in that aspect. All I can do is continue praying for him. I'm sure that someday - knowing his grandfather - he will have a close relationship with God and be able to get through all of these events in his life.

I'm praying for a bunch of my friends now. So many things are happening and there are so many people to pray for. I always secretly felt like I wasn't a good enough Christian to be dealing with all these requests and responsiblities. After all, with all the activities I'm in I was feeling absolutely burnt out. But after talking to my mom I realized that everyone has room for improvement, and I know that once I start becoming more comfortable with myself that I will also become comfortable with God again as long as I remember to myself that he is in control of all and that I need not to worry about the big things in life - or at least not worry with them by myself. After all, it's that inner peace that makes devout Christians so strong. Who knows, maybe that will help me in my battle for self-confidence.

Besides, how can I be a good witness to people if I'm not showing that Christian peace myself. I have to be a witness. I suppose all I can do now is do my best to pray to God and place these things in his hands. After all, He loves me and with Him I can never go wrong.

A New Day

Heya, it's me - TF - for the first time on this blog.

I created the blog so that I could quit whinning on DA all the time and do something...productive with all this in my head rather than drown my watchers on DA in updates and stories and blah-blah-bu-blah. So, we'll see how this works.

Unfortunately, I have something - or should I say someone to gripe at this moment *glares at her dog* I love my dog, but I know for sure that if he doesn't shape up and stop chewing everything my parents won't tolerate it. I guess I'll have to put hot sauce on the furniture like I did with the retrievers. *grumbles*

In better news, I can relax a little more now - I'm done with all my requests but two. Of course, one I'm not getting ANY response from the requestee and I can't do a thing until she gives me a link to her story which I can't find *groans* Darn it.... Oh, well. Holding those other requests, however, until I am sure no one will kill me for that mass update on DA this thursday XD.

I am working very hard on my personal Manga. Hopefully I'll find a reasonable offer on a host site and will be able to really get things cracking on it.

And...I'm suffering from writer's block again... More like writer's laziness actually. But I'm sure I'll get over it.

Well, that's all peeps. I've gotta get to bed before two XD

L8R
