Extended Weekend (Gah! Stupid FanFiction!!!)

Well, here I am again. The other day I was reflecting on how little I read as compared to last year and then I looked at my bookshelf and decided - oh, yeah... I need to go to the library! I know it sounds weird, but ever since I started working in the library every day I haven't checked out any books. I guess I've gotten so sick of shelving the same books over and over again I don't feel the need to check out any of my own *sigh* So I checked out another Stephen King book, Cell. My friends say it's good and I've enjoyed what King books I've read, so...
Someone tell me what they think if they've read it

Both the school's basketball teams (Boys and Girls) are going to state tournaments this week so today was the last day of the week for us. Thank goodness for that - I'm not a "I hate school and hope it dies" type but I do enjoy vacation now and then and we're a school that NEVER gets out of school. When we get off a day the entire county panics because they know it's bad then. Even the Catholic Private school across the road depends on us. They don't call of unless we do. So - thankful for that^^ Also, the boy I'm crushing bad on is on the boys' team so I'm going to go cheer them on! Yeah me! I think Rae will be there, if not I can handle myself *paints self blue*

I've worked up a storm on Halfling. Hopefully it will be up within a few weeks *hits head* You see, originally I wanted to update like two or three pages at a time, but now that I have to have one complete comic done before I get the copyrights filled out I'm working so fast that the comic looks... Sloppy. I'll revamp it later most likely. I've also got requests I STILL haven't finished @.@ I can't wait until Tennis season. Things just seem to come together for Tennis.

Oh, and buddy do I envy you people who can read and review for stories as well as write your own. At my rate of typing and looking over it takes me a week to make a complete typed chapter. At that rate I can't DREAM of reading other people's fictions as they update. I'm a fast reader (when it's on paper) but my printer privileges are at a no-go at the moment thanks to one fanfiction I didn't scan before I printed. It was a crapfic *sigh* My parents saw it and flipped. We had just gone through something like this earlier *hits head again*

Also, Lunar-Ninja posted some comic strips from my first fanfic, The Red Night's Dawn. They were so nice that I was like, "Ah, I had fun with that fic! I haven't looked at it in a while! I think I'll take a look-see!" .... .... It was a load of crap. Oh, my gosh I can't believe how much better I am now. The chapters were maybe a third of my current stories' length and there are a bunch of flaws in it. LUCKILY, though, it gave me a plot bunny to sum those flaws up [/sarcasm]. Oh, well. Someday when I don't have a million and one things to do, I'll revamp it.

Then I looked at the reviews for that story. It was like 130-something (guesstimate) reviews. I'm like @.@ What? XD It must've been that I was new and and people wanted to give me a chance, I s'pose... ... Still... Ah, I won't get into it. I summed up how I feel about reviews in the second chapter of RND, "So, anything goes" (not actual quote - what I meant)

That sums it up, Turtlefreak over and out^^
